Do you want to feel the atmosphere of the desperate Wild West? Come on July 28th to the Lviv Organ Hall! The concert "The Wild West meets West Ukraine" is a light and merry "Americana" performed by a pianist Oksana Lutsyshyn and a contralto Kelly Montgomery. Cowboy songs, American folk music, music from performance and films, as well as classical works by Aaron Copland, Ruth Crawford Seeger, Stephen Foster, Patrick Gilmore - all this will sound at our guests' concert from the United States.

Oksana Lutsyshyn is a Ukrainian pianist who has been living in the United States for a long time. She began studying music at Sokal, Ukraine, graduated the Moscow Conservatory. She is a laureate of Maryland’s William Kapell International Piano Competition. In the early 90's, she debuted in New York in the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall. After emigration to the United States, he studied at Indiana University, had a lot of solo projects and wins in competitions. Together with her husband Andrey Kasparov, she created a piano duo.Currently, Oksana Lutsyshyn is a professor of music at the Old Dominion University, where she teaches in the theory of piano and music.

Kelly Montgomery is Oksana's colleague at the university, but she teaches vocals. In her creative biography are so many things that is difficult to reach! Kelly began as a pianist, graduated from the University (harpsichord and organ classes), served as an organist in the church, studied singing for a long time and became a doctor of music in the field of vocal performances. Tours in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and numerous concerts in the leading operas in the United States perfectly combine with teaching at universities and master classes in different countries.
