Dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven
TA-DA-DA-DAAA. The composer who wrote four most recognizable notes in music history. Ludwig van Beethoven is considered to be one of the greatest composers of all time. He would turn 250 this year! We are joining the worldwide birthday celebration of the musical genius. Beethoven began a new era in music. It's unlikely for there to be a composer who has not relied on the achievements of this great master of dramaturgy. His work is the triumph of the human spirit and the triumph of good over evil.
This chamber concert with wonderful musicians — unsurpassed violinist Lilia Sliusar-Gratyla and pianist Serhiy Hryhorenko — is an evening when you can immerse yourself into the wonderful aesthetics of Beethoven's times.

About performers:
Lilia Slyusar-Gratyla, Honored Artist of Ukraine, gave her first public concert at the age of 16, when she studied at the S.Krushelnytska Specialized Secondary Music Boarding School. Back then she performed in cities of Western Ukraine. Now, however, the geography of concerts the violinist participates in has expanded significantly. Lilia Gratyla
participated as a soloist in many international projects and festivals in Denmark, Poland, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Ukraine throughout her creative carrier. She performed in the best halls of Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Holland,
Belgium as the first violin with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic named after S. Lyudkevych. Lilia also became the first violin with the Austrian-Ukrainian
symphony orchestra “K&K Philharmoniker.” It gave the group a wonderful start and they
still perform together in the best halls of Europe, such as Musikverein in Vienna,
Konzerthaus in Berlin, Victoria Hall in Geneva, and many other halls in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, etc. After finishing her
postgraduate studies at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine, she worked at the Chamber Ensemble Department of the Lviv Music Academy, as well as as a soloist at the Lviv Organ Hall. The violinist has an extensive performing experience as part of
various ensembles — from chamber orchestras to duets. The “Lemberg” quartet is one of them and Lilia Gratyla has been its leader for many years. There were projects with chamber orchestras “Leopolis,” “Virtuosos” and also as a part of the student chamber
orchestra of the Lviv Music Academy. The latter greatly influenced musical and
professional tastes of the musician. After all, in her student years she had the opportunity to work with such masters of our time as V. Spivakov, Yu. Bashmet, I. Oistrakh, G. Kremer, N. Gutman and Yu.Lyubimov. Now Liliya Gratyla dedicates more time to chamber
music, although she does not leave her work with the orchestra.The duet with Serhhiy Grygorenko — an Honored Artist of Poland - was created in 2018, and already has a successful history of concerts in the cities of Ukraine and Poland. In particular, concerts in
Warsaw, at the invitation of the F. Chopin Society, numerous concerts at the Lviv Opera “Mirror Hall,” a concert at the Philharmonic in Zhytomyr, in Kropyvnytskyi, etc.The
repertoire of the ensemble expands with each new concert, and it brings great pleasure to both musicians and the public, which always welcomes these artists.
