Five toccatas&fugues by Bach

Toccatas and fugues by Bach are tour de force. Performing them in such a way that the music touches your soul requires a special talent from the organist. Stanislav Kalinin is a guest at the Organ Festival and he will perform five toccatas and fugas composed by Bach, and each and every one of them is like a whole new world.

The concert will become a part of the International Organ Festival, which will be held at the Lviv Organ Hall for the ninth time. From July 14 to August 18, Lviv will turn into the organ capital of Ukraine. The guests will be presented with 15 concerts, outstanding organ players from four countries, master classes and hours of good music!

The chief organist of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic Stanislav Kalinin performed over 1200 concerts and 100 different solo programs on the organ and harpsichord. Winner of international competitions as an organist and as a concertmaster, he tours in Europe and America, writes albums and makes organ adaptations of symphonic, choral, and chamber music.
