13-year-old pianist Chrystyna Mykhailychenko, who played the best scenes in Europe and America, will play a solo concert in Lviv.
Chrystyna Mykhailychenko is called "Crimean Mozart". The girl was born in Simferopol. Began to play the piano in age of five, she played the first solo concert at seven and first performed with an orchestra at eight. After the annexation of Crimea by Russia, Mykhailychenko family was forced to leave the peninsula. Currently Chrystyna is studying at the Lysenko Specialized Music School in Kyiv. From the spring  2016 she’s attending master classes by prof. Alexey Grinyuk (Great Britain). The achievements of the young pianist are striking: the laureate of the first prizes of dozens of national and international contests (the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, etc.), won the Grand Prix three times, played concerts in the leading halls of Paris, Brussels, Bruges, Washington, Istanbul, Antwerp, Vienna, The Hague, in national philharmonics of Ukraine.Studied at the Summer Music Academies of the International Musica Mundi Festival (Belgium, 2017), ISAM (Germany, 2016), IMUSE (Belgium, 2016) and others. Performed at international festivals "ArtDialog" (Switzerland) and "LvivMozArt" (Lviv, Ukraine). Three times was among the top 10 of the brightest teens of the year, whose achievements have been recognized by the WoMo (2015-2017).
In October, a young star will visit Lviv with a solo concert. Chrystyna will perform the Parthia No. 1 by Johann Sebastian Bach, Second Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. The second department will begin with the virtuoso Rhapsodie espagnole by Ferenz Liszt, then the phantasmagoric Fourth Scherzo by Frederic Chopin, and will end with a spectacular rhapsody on the Ukrainian folk themes by Mykola Lysenko "Dumka-Shumka".
