Jacob Shaw, an extraordinary cellist from Copenhagen, will give a concert in Lviv on April 21.
He became the youngest ever cellist in the history of the Paris Conservatoire École Normale de Musique in cello. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen in 2014. The extremely successful debut in 2015 at Carnegie Hall brought him many concert contracts and CD recordings in America. Shaw is a laureate of 16 contests.
He plays for 80 concerts per season, teaches at his own free Scandinavian Cello School. He organized the Festival International de Musique de Chambre in France with his father and sister. Jacob fountains with original ideas. For example, his Radical Classic project introduces classical music to new, culturally diverse demographics. Fortissimo is a multi-sensory concept that integrates good music and good food.
In the Organ Hall Shaw will perform a refined classical repertoire: Saint-Saens, Bach, Fauré , Popper and Tchaikovsky.
