Piano recitale of Diana Chubak

"There is really nothing in Isaac Albeniz's Iberia that a good three-handed pianist could not master, given unlimited years of practice and permission to play at half tempo. But there are few pianists thus endowed." The New York Times wrote this about the masterpiece of the Spanish composer. However, why did we get hooked on Albeniz? Is Sonata #7 by Prokofiev or Mephisto Waltz by Liszt need less excellence and expression from a musician? And while listening to Sonata #30 by Ludwig van Beethoven, does not it seem that pianist really has third hand?
All these pieces will be in the program of the solo concert of Diana Chubak in the Organ Hall on April 10, and next to them - modern Ukrainian classics: Silvestrov and Skoryk.

Diana Chubak graduated from the Lviv National Musical Academy named after. M. Lysenko. She perfected her skills at the well-known Ukrainian pianist Oksana Rapita.Laureate of numerous international and all-Ukrainian competitions, such as Myroslav Skoryk Contest, Golden Parnassus Award at the XII International Pesticide Forum "Bieszczady Borderless" (Xianok, Poland, 2017), II Prize at the VIII International Competition "Siegfried Weishaupt Klavierwettbewerb" (Ochsenhausen, Germany, 2018), Wagner Scholarship 2019.
As a soloist, she performed with the Mariupol municipal chamber orchestra Renaissance, the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine, the Academic Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosos of Lviv", with the chamber ensemble Academia Dell'Arco (Poland).
