Mukachevo Choir of Boys

The Mukachevo Choir of Boys and Young Men was founded in 1983. Its organizer is Volodymyr Volontyr, Honored Worker of Arts of Ukraine, Winner of the V.Kosenko Prize, Laureate of the D.Zador Prize, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine. For 35 years of creative activity the collective represented the Ukrainian choral art in 20 European countries. The choir is the winner of many international competitions and festivals. In 2013 it got the Honorary Award of the National Music Academy of Ukraine. "For outstanding achievements in the development of national musical art, charitable and humanistic activities."Concert programs of the choir include: Ukrainian choral classics, Western European classics, works of contemporary Ukrainian and foreign composers, Ukrainian folk songs and carols.
